UPDATED ON FRIDAY, 1st MAY
—
See you all at our next monthly Coffee Morning, on the second Thursday, 14th May.
Also, the hall has been busy as usual with "Meet Up Mondays" — but on TUESDAYS for now (that's a long story), a WEEKLY get-together with coffee and more for anyone who wants to join us, 10:45am in the hall on Tuesdays. So the next meet-up will be on 5th May. This is in addition to our monthly Coffee Morning, and hosted by Snape Good Neighbours. As usual, lots of coffee/tea and chatter. We can catch up with what's going on in our small world of Snape.
Thanks again to all who make our hall such a success.

UPDATED ON 16th MARCH

As usual, we had an interesting and enjoyable monthly Coffee Morning on 12th March. This is only possible because of our wonderful volunteers, who make it run like clockwork. A big thank-you from us all. Our water company sent two representatives to help us with any problems, and also to tell us how to save water, which is a priority for them.
John also came to measure support for the offer of a weekly minibus service to Saxmundham for shopping. He is also lobbying hard for a 'proper' bus service, which all surrounding villages have, but not Snape. [See the Snape Bus Campaign blog.]
As usual, we had a marvellous Raffle — with an Easter theme, as our next Coffee Morning will be after Easter.
Bric-a-Brac needed for our Coffee Mornings ...
... The stall and the Shed Shop need more stock. So, if you are sorting out your cupboards and doing a bit of spring-cleaning, then your unwanted items will be gratefully received. All proceeds from sales go towards the upkeep of Snape Village Hall. We can collect your unwanted items — please contact Mel Thurston, ☏ 07837 528 187.
Thanks to everyone for help and donations — and we look forward to seeing you all again next month on the second Thursday, 9th April.

POSTED ON 14th FEBRUARY

We had yet another successful Coffee Morning in the hall in February. It is a chance for residents and others to meet and enjoy a pleasant chat and company. Our raffles are well supported, and our profits go towards keeping the hall well maintained.
As usual, thanks to all our very supportive volunteers, the event runs like clockwork. We look forward to seeing anyone who wants to join us next month on Thursday, 12th March at 10:00am.
The hall is now full most days with little room for new activities, but we try and fit anyone in who needs to hire our spaces. The upstairs room is now available again, as the stairs and entrance have been repaired, but note that this is not an accessible area.
